Samantha Clay, LPC

Therapy for kids, teens and adults. Helping humans feel more calm.

Feeling anxious?

You might find yourself thinking about the worst-case scenario and carefully planning ahead to avoid a catastrophe. Despite meticulous planning, you still feel a sense of unease. You remind yourself that everything “should” be fine, and you are “good enough”, yet you still feel like you are barely holding it together.

Relax, you are in the right place, and I am here to help.

I help kids, teens, and adults who are tired of constant worry, and the weight of not feeling good enough. Whether the anxiety stems from a parents’ separation, a diagnosis like OCD, or an unexpected life event, you will move from a belief of “I can’t handle this” to “I’ve got this.” It’s possible. I promise.

Anxiety can make you feel out of control, but this is a space where you will be in control. We will go at your own pace and in your own way. I believe you have power to make change in your life, and my role is to support you as you access that power to work towards change. Together, we’ll explore what’s underneath the anxiety and gently build tools to help you feel at peace and more compassionate towards yourself.

When you're ready, I’m here.

About Me

As a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), I work with children (3+), adolescents, and adults experiencing anxiety, OCD, life transitions, low self-esteem, and trauma. I integrate various techniques, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), EMDR, and Play Therapy (with children) to best address the needs of my clients.

I take a collaborative approach with my clients and strive to work together as a team. With children, I work closely with their caretakers. My goal is to teach them skills to help them feel calm and confident as they are raising their child.
